Double Bachelor's degree: Degree in Business Administration and Management and Degree in Tourism

Bachelor’s thesis

Course Description

The Bachelor's Final Project (TFG) is an autonomous and individual piece of work that students must complete under the guidance of a supervisor. This project will allow students to demonstrate in an integrated manner the training content received and the competencies acquired associated with the Bachelor's degrees.

The TFG can take, among others, the following forms:

a) An empirical academic paper or an essay on a specific topic related to the content of the Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration (ADE) and Tourism.

b) A literature review and research paper focused on various fields related to the Bachelor’s degrees in ADE and Tourism.

c) A simulation of professional situations related to the different fields of professional practice qualified by the degrees: report, opinion paper, preparation and defense of a case, business creation projects and their feasibility study, among others.

d) A project developed within an external entity to FDET (companies, public and private institutions, NGOs, and solidarity movements) on a subject related to the ADE and Tourism degrees, as long as this project has not been carried out during the Curricular External Academic Internships.

e) A project carried out using the Service-Learning (ApS) methodology.

Evaluation

The evaluation of the TFG is continuous and includes the assessment of the planning and development of the work as well as its public defense.

  • Once the corresponding supervisor assignments have been made for each TFG, if both supervisors agree, the student may carry out a single TFG under the supervision of both. However, this option is not mandatory for the supervisors and it will be up to the student to propose it.
